X HALE Youth Awards

The X-HALE Youth Awards is kicking off for 2013. We are launching a short film competition for youth groups and youth organisations who are interested in the issue of smoking and how the tobacco industry is targeting young people. 

The Irish Cancer Society is providing €500 grants to youth groups and youth organisations to make a short film on these issues and to make a difference amongst young people in their communities. We also will be providing a one day film making workshop in your region during February to help you with your film. The project will run from January to May2013 and all films will be entered into an online and social media poll with great prizes for the winning entries.
